Our people are at the heart of everything we do.

We know what it means to be part of a team. We encourage and support each other, even when we’re challenging and questioning ideas. We are all smart, innovative and creative people and we want the best for our clients and our business, but we respect our teammates, their experiences and our differences.

We all matter. At Razor everyone’s voice is heard.

We give our teams the opportunity to present new work or share any learnings that can add value to the whole team in an open forum.

We don’t keep people in the dark. We share important company updates from the senior management team at our company meetings and in between if necessary - even better, there’s usually snacks!

We're all constantly learning

The work we do is vast and varied and almost all targeted at Microsoft Azure. We work on high scale concurrency ticketing platforms, IoT platforms with stream processing and big data analytics, machine learning, natural language processing, cross-platform native mobile apps, APIs and of course, websites.

But you don’t need to be an expert in all that right away. You’ll work with inspirational people, you’ll learn a lot and probably find a mentor for life. Every month you will receive coaching focusing on your personal development and ambitions.

Our team has a clear vision of where we are going. We are growing a culture with people who share our beliefs and want to ride the technology wave with us and help UK businesses who feel swept up by it.

We have our cause for our region and the UK, that is far greater than ourselves. We have an opportunity to make Sheffield and the North, known for digital manufacturing.

We're striving for diversity

Unfortunately, there are more men than women at Razor at the moment. Our Women at Razor group are always looking at ways they can help change this. Latest figures show just 15% of UK engineering graduates are female, by sharing our experiences it is our hope to inspire younger women in our region to consider the technology industry.

Diversity of all kinds is on our radar. Every month we celebrate, recognise and learn about different areas of society and ways of thinking.

You can be social...if it’s your bag

We are a sociable bunch, global pandemic notwithstanding. Whether we’re enjoying a Friday pub lunch or orchestrating a virtual pub quiz, there is always something going on that you can get involved with.

We also have a strong contingent of bookworms; we’d love someone to join who had the desire to start a book club!
